Sounds like a mini DS dig lol
We are still waiting for the silage and hay to be cut on our permissions. SuperMoleMan and I might come down on Thursday for a wee session.

I didnt have time to do any detecting but did see three intrepid detectorists in the distance,  and two who were close enough to chat to  ;)

Good pic of me and Alex in the bullet zone I dug 74 enfields and six musket balls. Don't know who the other two were nearer the castle but did speak to a lad in yellow jacket who is new to the hobby. What happened Molly ??

Well, I'm the worst detectorist ever - I was scared going on that mud and couldn't get near the bullets. I got lots of hits, We dug lots of holes, got foil, ring pulls, and an old light fitting - but it was great. Maybe next time  :D
