The bull was no problem whiskygalore, I was coming home during the week at 10.30pm, and found him walking up the middle of the road. Went and spoke with the farmer, to get him put back in the field. Driving past him , he even went into the passing place to let me past !!!!
Canny old beast.

Great day out with good company. Regarding the bull he came wandering up to me and sniffed my detector to see if it was worth eating (probably the best thing for it) and just closed his eyes when I scratched him between the ears.My finds of the day were a 1937 silver threepenny bit,an Irish halfpenny of William 3rd,3 decorated pewter buttons and a Charlie 1 turner with a design you can actually make out for a change! Delighted. Hats off to the organisers ;D ;D

Thanks again for organising this one, was goot meeting everyone again including a few more new faces that i had not spoken to before.  Joe was a great help in explaining the ins and outs of the Ace 250 to me!

I only got one find that was remotely interesting, a rather nice button (or it was before my spade whacked it) that is probably around 17th century?  Has a nice silver patterned inner circle.
