Just a wee note for the newer members that haven't been involved in an archaeology survey . On the day you will be given flags and bags all the finds must be bagged and flagged you cannot keep anything you find. It's a really enjoyable day you never know what's going to pop up its an honour to be involved in detecting Scottish battlefields and I'm sure it'll be a good day.

I fully agree, a real honour.

I've been lucky enough to have been involved with the detecting at Pitreavie and Bannockburn, fantastic experiences

Well done everyone who took part today, it's exciting stuff and some great finds were made relating to the battle but please remember not to post anything about them for now.

When the report is released I'll pass on the copy that I get and will ask for permission to put them on the site.

Also whether the expenses are received from Guard by Saturday or not I'll give out expenses for today as cash at DS128 this weekend as I know the money is coming anyway.

Thanks again
G
