Ive posted a few of my finds in the gallery.Hope its not too many.Ill post some more if anyone wants to see them but dont want to clutter up the pages.Thanks.

My grandad was in the RN for most of WW2
My Dad was in the Merchant Navy
I've been in the Navy for 20 years so far ;D

Sure do!

I have his service certificate somewhere.

He was in Harry Tates navy (RNPS) two of his ships were converted paddle steamers. Thames Queen and Westward Ho

Also Loch Askaig, Thalessa, Hoverfly, Susannah Jane.

I'd have to look for the certificate to name the rest.

When not onboard he was at HMS Europa (Lowestoft) so had a LX service number.
