as usual I wandered round blethering a lot more than detecting!

Very well done to all the finders, I got very little

Forged George III spade Guinea made into a pendant
George III halfpenny from the roots of the big oak tree between the William the lion field and Wednesday's new field.
A nice livery button
A very thin unidentifiable copper probably a William III farthing
A Viccy farthing

That's all folks lol

However a member did very kindly give me an army badge he had found for my collection and it's a lovely one from the Dorset Yeomanry

Oh look! another arsehole ;-) (people watching the professional beggars round central station)

Haha yep! But as long as the guys enjoyed it I'm satisfied.

Great to see Kirsty get her first hammered and of course an Edward half sovvy is a lot rarer than a Viccy one!  :)

I think a tumbler would ruin them mate, a dremel with some light oil and a soft brush works well!

Or just brush loose Oxidation off and rub Renaissance wax into it

Hotdogs and blethering is a valid and necessary part of detecting.  Well done!

Bob.
