hi guys, as some of you may know i am a wee bit of a hoarder ;) and i have finally decided to get rid of some of my things. i have everthing from 100 year old maps to roman coins, stamps to tins.


just wondering if anyone interested,

Maps:- Bartholomew reduced survey for tourists and cyclists of surrey (sheet 30. has been used and has small holes where it has been folded, F)
               Bartholomew reduced survey for tourists and cyclists of the caladonian canal ( front sheet riped, holes where has been folded , F)
               Bartholomew reduced survey for tourists and cyclists of central Ross-shire ( better condition, much smaller holes at folding, F)
               also have - firth of clyde
                                      wigtown and stranrar  ??? ::)
                                      peterhead and banff
                                      oban district
                                      central perthshire
                                      surrey
                                      contoured road map of Scotland

not sure what they are worth but would like about £5-10 each  ??? ???

                   liverpool and manchester railway 1830 PRESENTATION PACK
                   the linnean society 1788/1988 PHQ CARDS
                   HM the queen mother 90th birthday PRESENTATION PACK

no idea of value?? offers

coins;- i have a too many to list so i will just do time periods

              quite a few roman bronzes(very common ones)
              late 1700s portugese coin
              modern 6d, 3d, shillings, halfpennys, pennys (silver and nickle)
              lots of modern foreign coins
             

TYPEWRITERS-  i have over 13 typewriters and no room. if your just looking for a typewriter i could get you a good one. electric and manual and finger breaking ones ;D ;D

tins - iron jelloids no. 2A and reliable tonic  ;) tin 1940-50s i think ???
           brooke bond beef bubes "1d per cube" large tin
           several oxo cube tins ranging in age and quality



finally thats me done, just thought i would see if someone else could get more pleasure than me from these item as they are just sitting in my drawers ;D ;D ;D

David for what it's worth - those old tins may be worth much more than you might think.  A local gift shop here charges upwards of £35 - £50 for old elastoplast, cough sweet etc tins.

Yep if you have any vintage/curio shops near you, they may be interested too. Vintage typewriters are often required as movie or photography props too. A Herald photographer pal was looking for one recently (she got one)  Dont rush to get rid of anything , a bit of homework (on top of your ACTUAL homework lol) might pay off with this? Good luck!

Always worth having a look on ebay just to see if anyone else is selling what you have and to see the price.

I just had I look at some of the things I'm not selling but posses and WOW I have a display cabinet from the natural history museum and I thought £100?!




£1-2,000. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Similar thing with a bottle I found, just a plain ink bottle, royal dalton.

£50-70  !!!

.... ;D ;D ;D it's quite good/bad as I have started being recognised in my local area for 1reason or another, it's either being a metal detectorist or riding my unicycle places lol  ;D ;D

If in doubt check fleabay and you will at least get a rough average price idea for pretty much anything.
