I have a weird way with defining the English language "lol"

This is the most difficult time of year to put on a dig because of crops being in and lambing/calving etc.. Any digs on at this time of year is a bonus.

cheers molly, thanks ds we appreciate the hard work behind the scenes , been around a few farms today and the farmers looked busy busy and stressed not an easy time for permissions  :(

Too true Eddy, this is traditionally the "closed season"  for detecting now ( beaches excepted)  until the first silage gets cut late summer. Thats why so many of us have alternative "summertime" hobbies  :)
