Patience is a virtue
« on: July 22, 2016, 07:22:07 PM »
Patience is maybe something I don't have or maybe I give up to easy but I just want to say thanks to oor wullie61 or Davy for taking his time and cleaning a few items for me that I believed were goosed and no detail would come from them and was ready to condemn them and believe me they were in poor nick but Davy said he would have a go and with a bit of patience managed to get some detail from the items  , here's a victory medal which appeared blank  at first  when it came out , so cheers again Davy , and I won't be so hasty to condemn items . Tam

Did you manage to get the info engraved around the outer rim, giving the name, rank, service no. and Regiment of the recipient?

If you can get it you might find some background data on the www?

Just a thot ...

Bob.
