Purchase from antique shop
« on: October 18, 2016, 07:04:23 PM »
Just for a bit of fun how much would you pay for a Jews ( or jaws ) harp in this condition from an antiques / collectables shop ? Dash you aren't allowed to "guess" since you know already lol

I purchased this today after spotting it in a display case ..... cracking condition and very nice size  ;D also think it's great way to show people what they looked like instead of the condition we pull them from the ground lol  :D

I'm chuffed with it and when I finally get a display case I can put it in beside the one ( and only one ) that I've found  :D

They were 7/6 when I were a lad!  (37.5 Pence in today's terms, for the youngsters ...)

NOTE:- They were a pure b.gg.r on yer teeth if you miss hit the strummer!

I'd guess about £15 as well?

Bob.
