Can anyone identify this coin
Its not in great condition and I have sketched it as best I can

Looks like it could be an Ediburgh Half Penny Copper Trade Token  ---  is the year correct from your find ? as the examples I'm finding are all circa 1790

I agree with Sinky but the date will be in the 1790's

well found :) :) i got one in the same condition as yours  ;D ;D but still a cool find, david called it a st andrews token, same token as what the guys have said just the common name for it i think  ;D ;D nice  :) :) ;)

YIP ,  I got one a few months ago and pokerman helped me to ID it, a bit of  E45 on it will let you see more detail  :D :D :D
