Lochcarron area.

Linda, myself and two of our sprogs are going to Lochcarron this Friday for a week.  Anyone know if the beaches there are worth detecting?  I must look out my beach permit.
Howard.

There is a lot of iron in the rock around there which could cause hassle, but you'll only find out by trying it. There is an old ruined castle by the old ferry ramp at "Stromeferry(no ferry)" as the sign has it. It is a scheduled ancient monument but when the tide is out it may be interesting to have a poke about below the tide line.
