Signature Logo's & How To Use Tutorial

Thought I would share this on here for those who don't know how to post images or have them in your profile signature etc

To post images on the forum or in your signature is easy, simply goto www.photobucket.com and open a free account or www.tinypic.com

If you are using images in your signature please make sure show signature is set to yes in your profile otherwise they will not show up

there you can upload your images into folders and then share them on here as I do and most other people, this saves this forums bandwidth and is easy for you to store all your images in one place

you just need to make sure you do the image tags correct before and after the images direct url

what i mean is say i wanted to show this pic -

I cant do it by simply giving the images direct link (once i have uploaded it to my tinypic.com account) to the image which is

http://i41.tinypic.com/30hpnah.jpg

So i can either give the direct url which you get from photobucket or tinypic.com which has the IMG tags or i can insert them manually

image tag starts with which is open and close image tags , you can also click on the insert image icon from the options when making a post and paste in the images url

so you should see your image written in the text box like this

[img]http://i41.tinypic.com/30hpnah.jpg[/img**]

but without the stars **, i have put stars in so you can see how it should look

Good Luck!

List of Minelab & other Logo's i have made that you can use....
Right click on each, click on save as, then save them to your desktop and upload them to your photobucket.com or tinypic.com account

Showing photos works just the same...

To make animated logos such as this one -

you need to save the images you want to use from the above list then goto this website http://gickr.com/

When you upload the pics you are using remember to select custom size on the drop down on the website and enter 113 for the size, that is the custom size for using the minelab machine logo's etc

Should you wish to make one like this -

To use for your avatar you will need several pics of your own that you can resize (i only used 4), Their width can be no greater than 100 pixels, the height no greater than 100 pixels, and the file size no more than 49 KB to use as an avatar on this website

To resize your pics you can use a great free program called "PixResizer" which you can download here -

http://bluefive.pair.com/pixresizer.htm

Once you have your pics and they are resized, go back to http://gickr.com/ and upload them, then select custom size again and option 100 pixels

Once it has made your image you can then upload it to your profile direct or you can upload it to tinypic.com or photobucket.com to use
