Hi all, any idea what this is from? It looks msn made and is slightly curved on one side and flat on the other.

Not sure, seems to have the number 5 on the rhs of the stem bit tho...

Ah, sorry, I’m not very good at this. I should have mentioned that it is 6 inches long and 2 inches wide and fairly heavy.

Was in a bit of a mess then!
I have recently been told it may be a hand off an old clock, a large one that is.
If it was, it must have been very large, bu5 you never know!

Might be the end of an old ornamental hinge like the kind used on church doors...

Great photo there mate
It certainly looks like old iron ,could be wrong as I cant feel the weight, it looks like a spike end off an old Victorian gate  railing, other than that it may be snapped off a handle from an old weapon where the whole handle is shaped like a cross.
