My DS1810: pot luck and fool's gold...
« on: December 04, 2018, 12:32:46 AM »
Found a bronze pot leg in the quiet field along with a very worn GII ha'penny and a very worn turner. Finally tried field #1 at twighlight... first hit sounded good; dug the spot; saw a lovely gold disc... it was a screwtop... worse, it was from a Buckfast bottle...

Many thanks to Grant and Jim for sorting the dig :) :)
