Well! Apart from a chunk of scrap silver all I found was I needed a new spade  :o

Turn out in sub zero stainless steel really is kinda brittle

Ended up trying local garden centres for a border spade fruitlessly so gave up but have a snigger at the photo.

Well done Greendave on your brilliant ring and of course the hammered silver finders for keeping our unrivalled run of consecutive hammy digs going!!

Oh look! another arsehole ;-) (people watching the professional beggars round central station)
