Well done, I only lasted about three hours before I couldn’t feel my fingers or toes. I enjoyed today’s dig and think it would be worth another visit in the future (when it’s not snowing) 🥶

Must have been a tad wild Brian, but a Lovely wee watch fob  and a nice Brazilian copper made it worth getting out 👍🏻

Nice finds there.

I only lasted 3 hrs. Brutal conditions, especially as I forgot my waterproof trousers! Live and learn, live and learn.

Incidentally did anyone else spend the best part of the day digging up bits of flattened gold foil that when covered in mud looked just like large hammered gold coins? I must have had about 7 of these. There was some quiet swearing on several occasions let me tell you.   ::)
