This gilded button popped up yesterday and I wonder if anyone has seen the design before?   There is a letter C then below are the letters F L M.

I did wonder if the F L M could be Fifeshire Local Militia.  George would your son know any more as I think he is involved with a Fifeshire military project?

Discussed this with my son and he is of the opinion that it may be The Forfarshire Local Militia Centre. Forfarshire Local Militia was divided into East, West and Centre units
