Roman ring?
« on: April 19, 2019, 07:39:47 PM »
Found this bronze ring fragment today, along with a green patina object.

Can anyone I.D. these?

Could the ring be a Roman legionary ring?

Nice finds. Could the ring fragment be from the '10th legion of the strait', 40BC.
The other copper alloy piece may be part of a fibula brooch. Would be good to hear what the TT say. Well dug
