Greetings From Central Belt Scotland
« on: May 20, 2019, 03:46:32 PM »
My name is Paul and I’m from central Scotland.
Just purchased my 1st metal detector (Garret 400i)
I collect coins and would like to find a few of my own.
If anyone knows any clubs in the central belt if Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 it would be a great help . Also if anyone in Scotland is looking for a buddy let me know . I’m hopefully going to St. Andrews this weekend. Today I’m going to write a few letters to the local farmers to see if they would allow me in there land. Any one with tips I would appreciate.
Thanks for your time to read this

Regards
Paul

Hey mate, save your time and postage money, best bet is to get out there and knock on some doors..... 99% of letters get ignored

Hi Paul the central belt is a big area I'm from falkirk there are two other clubs to look up, SARG and Chancers, digs,  Detecting Scotland  is a great club to start with. Iv not been on a dig with them but i didn't have any transport at the time, yes i know i could have said i want a lift and it would have people saying no probs. But my job gets in the way and other matters. If your on facebook you  could ask if any of your friends know any farmers in your local area to recommend you.
