Dug today. The face is a bit indistinct, cant make it out.

hi i think you have an edward 1st penny i think i can read the legend which says from cross (120clock) Clockwise. (i no expert and may be wrong) EDWARR ANGL DNS HYB which stands for Edward king of England Lord of Ireland.  london mint.  hope this helps buddy 1272-1307.
