Metal detecting Survey Work
« on: June 06, 2011, 07:33:24 PM »
SCOTTISH DETECTOR CLUBThis club took part in a metal detecting survey between 28-30th March 2011.  A resulting paper has been published which makes interesting reading. It certainly demonstrates the hard work those involved in the survey were subjected to. The site is located near Lochailort on the west coast of Scotland. Please find attached the published paper.............

This is yet another site where metal detectorists have become involved with archaeologists in the recording of our history
Well Done to the members who took part in this very important work  !!!
