found testerday along with a silver shilling(vicky)...i think it looks like celtic design round the edges?

Nice to see your still finding the silver coins just like last Sunday!

The ring is probably sweetheart ring as the lozenge in the middle that is looking like a shield is a heart.

I take it it is copper and not silver?

Could be a poor man's version "Posy Ring," as well even date is hard to tell by the photo but could be anything from 16th century upwards by the look and shape of it.

Still popular in the Victorian era as well.

Great to see that other forum members are finding things.

Nice find.

nice find , to me it looks like a victorian fair ground ring ,which may have been very lighty gilded
