Hi
My best find fron DS6 is probably a spindle whorl. Could date anywhere from Roman to late Medeival. Given the style of decoration I would probably go for 12-14 century.
Some of my other finds from DS6 included.
George I first issue farthing
2x Charles II bawbees
a couple of blank turners
George II halfpenny
George III halfpenny
a variety of Victorian farthings, halfpennies and pennies and some very coroded coppers
a bag seal
fairly modern thimble
a copper token advertising starch.(has a woman on the back doing the ironing!)
a strange copper artefact that looks like one of those things you decorate cakes with but it does not havea hole ot the pointed end.
