Sniper coils
« on: July 17, 2012, 08:54:15 PM »
Lookin for some feedback on sniper coils, Garrett do a 4.5'' one and a super coil (10''), and interestingly they also seem to do a submersible 4.5'' too,
I see that I could get them for about £50-£60,

but are they worth getting if i already have the  6''x9'' and the 9''x12 coils?

:) The Garrett Sniper Coil is a great little asset to have for either the Ace 150 or the Ace 250, and is great to get in all those hard tight places!

I had one and it was great for the hollows of old trees hence I managed to get a gold heart brooch with the help of the Sniper.

But it is also great on the beach (dry sand) for recent losses and sandy play parks, and just because of its size doesn't necessarily mean a lack of coin sized targets it still gets them up to around the 5 inch mark in the sand easily!
