Falkland Estate Project
« on: July 22, 2012, 06:38:17 PM »
As you are aware I had three forum members volunteer to help me promote-- DS--TTU--QLTR--HISTORIC SCOTLAND--Whites Electronics-- and metal detecting in general. The forum can be very proud of the team I had who worked their socks of for the general good of the hobby. Every volunteer after their first day on the job would have slept soundly. The second day we run out of finds to put into the ground. Two of our metal detectors had flat batteries before we had finished. The afternoon just flashed in.We were thanked by the organisers who appreciated the amount of work that we had put into our pitch promoting our REMIT. Some finds recovered were finds we hadn't put in the ground and were natural finds. Two silver rings ,photographs of finders attached, and another young lady found a george III shilling forgery which were natural finds.

Well done all the volunteers,  looks like you must have drummed up a good few new recruits.  :)

Smashing that a few natural finds came up as well, the finders look rightly pleased with themselves. Looks like you also struck it lucky with the weather,  a good show all round  :D
