Wee lead token ?

Pulled this up yesterday think it may have a bit of age - its plain on the back - any ideas ???

Clearly a token the question is what type.  It is likely to be either a communion token or a token issued to a poor person either by the church or a landowner or person of similar importance. I found one like this which had the letter "F" and was plain on its reverse.

I would agree with LUCKY on it being a Church Token.
Hammy Count 2012 = 47

I agree, a communion token. Where was it found (nearest town/village)?

That site is a great help in understanding why you would have to have a communion token. Thanks again Reviver for the link. There is so much to learn and that's the great thing about this hobby along with others who are willing to share their knowledge.

Thanks for the link Reiver quite amazing how a wee bit of lead can get you wondering eh.....there isnt really a village begining with T around the area where I found it ! maybe it was the ministers initial ?
