i would say steve "if in doubt dig it out" you never know it could be just a dodgy signal or a coin on its side

Being assertive does not mean attacking or ignoring others feelings.  It means that you are willing to hold up for yourself fairly-without attacking others.

I think you're right Korky! It's probably been off a really big gate but what I thought was a handle is obviously the latch part. Thank you!

It pretty much stopped raining when I left the house Adrian and started raining as soon as I got home so I was really lucky in that respect, lol.

Hi Mark, it was just the standard "Green Goddess" version that I got but if felt good. It's light, very fast switching and very easy to make a dig/no dig decision. The only slight niggle is that the volume level you need while detecting is quite high - which is ok - but when you switch over to pinpoint my god what a racket! People came out of their houses to see what was going on lol. Definitely one for wearing headphones with :) Other than that I miss not having an armstrap (got one ordered from the U.S. though for £1.90 including delivery!). Very highly recommended!

Were you using it WITHOUT headphones?  :o

 And More.

Hi S&S

Interesting wee buckle can I ask what your design is ?

Has it got like a Serpents Head on it as it kinda reminds me of one I dug up made of Bronze with serpent or dragon's heads on it!

Possibly related?

The one I have may have been a small spur buckle ?

Joe  ;)

Yeah I often have a naked head when I'm out.  :-[

??? Not a good idea lol apart from drawing crowds it drains your battery quicker and is bad etiquette when digging with others  ;)

 Hi Joe,
The picture you have posted is very alike the one I found, in a smaller size.
What did you find out about  your buckle ?.
