found this today not entirely sure what it is maybe a candle snuffer perhaps
anyone help me with it???

its around an inch and a half in size

i am not sure as they are normally conical however i could be wrong . looks victorian / georgian could even be the top of a of a tin

you could be close with the date i think, after a bit of research on a bell type trade weight i found in the same field it seems to be from the 18th century
