My finds from the dig :

George III 1806 Half Penny

Elizabeth II 1955 Cupro-Nickel Sixpence. Unusually, it's got all original silvered coating!

Spinning part to a game with instruction panels

George V Sterling Silver WWI Honourable Discharge cap badge. Known as 'The Silver War Badge' My favourite find of the day! With badge number B279664 - Serviceman Andrew Robertson.

Tiny porcelain jug, ring and GPO mail sack seal

Two Victorian and an Edwardian 1907 Pennies

Possible brooch. Enamelling and traces of gilt present

Pennies and a Farthing, Victorian most likely

Victorian Silver Threepence

Toy Cannon

I just don't know what to say, except fantastic.  Looks like you found the Field of Dreams.  That's the sort of Rally I would like to go to.   Well worth an aching back to come back with finds like that.

Well done everyone. ;D

Val

p.s. don't tell DW about your Rally. Most of them are still crying into their pints. ;)

Poor show from the new computer!! Good show that you managed to get your finds up! Great to see there's hallmarks on the book clasp too, couldn't see any when I had a look yesterday. Some really nice finds. Well in!

Hi Alan, I've got permissions on the fields all around there including across the road down to the motorway, there are 4 different landowners (RG,AD,AW and 1 other) who is a nightmare lol
My half sov came from one of em.

If you want a trip out some time with myself and korky or max let us know
