Commander In Chief Visits Bannockburn
« on: November 05, 2013, 08:23:00 PM »
Among the visitors to the Bannockburn 700 project today was the Scottish metal detectorist's "Commander - in - Chief" Grant Maxwell. Grant made a fleeting visit today to inspect the DS troops in attendance. Happily -Ian Mac-Maxweltre8-and I were lucky enough to have been spoken to by the Commander. Photographed here are two exceptionally beautiful young lady GUARD volunteers receiving a lending hand from our Commander Grant.

In the second photograph Grant and the two ladies have been joined by finds expert,Professor Fumble, a well known archaeologist.

Yes is the answer to your question Marcus A.

Having just received an e-mail from one of the directors of this particular project to pass on his gratitude to all DS volunteers. May I make you all aware, that's those in the trenches and those involved with the metal detecting surveys, your involvement is greatly appreciated. Thanks for representing our DS forum membership in a manner we can all be proud of.(This includes our "Commander in Chief")
