Has this been progressed? Are the maps on this site anywhere? That would be a great help! And is this of any use? https://www.crownestatescotland.com/what-we-do/map

you no longer need to apply for a permit to detect crown foreshore as they have stopped issuing. permission is granted no permit required but suggest going online and reading T&C.

Thanks Doodles, I was looking for the crown estate Scotland maps. Someone suggested on this forum that we pool the emailed maps people had, so that others didn't have to wait for an email reply to look at what the 55% is.  England maps are all online but Scottish ones aren't. :(

I have a contact at Crown Estates who is very helpful and will send me maps for areas I am interested in.  I will email and ask if I can pass on her details.

Everything in there is crown property (My parents live in Alness so I have already asked the question).

Hi again Sland, I can't work out how to PM you,  so I'm asking on here. Do you have any others of those crown maps for the Highlands? I'm looking for Golspie, Ullapool, Thurso, Wick, Gairloch, anywhere north of Aviemore really. Please and thank you for being so helpful.
If you don't have, do you know whom we email to get them? Cheers!

Sorry but I don't have any other northern maps yet.  I have emailed my contact to ask if I can share her email address with the forum, will let everyone know when I get a reply.

As for PMs, just click on the little envelope below a user's avatar (beneath the links for "applaud" and "smite").

Aha, thank you for both info and requesting email permission. Was hoping to meet you today, but didn't come across you (I don't think).  Maybe next dig I can manage :)

I'm booked for Stirling next weekend - look for an overweight balding guy in his mid 50s with poor dress sense :)
