Out on new permission for a couple of hours
« on: November 23, 2010, 06:50:00 PM »
Got permission to detect on a farm at the weekend and was told by the farmer that it was detected a few years ago but nothing turned up. That did not get my hopes up.
Went out this afternoon for a couple of hours to see if it was worth spending time detecting this farm or if I should find another.
Found a Paisley Provident society 1d token, a 1915 shilling and a 1860s half penny in poor condition can just make out the 186 of the date. Also assorted brass bits and bobs and lead. Lots of iffy targets..
Looks promising to me. Might get back out tomorrow.

Keep plugging away.It may have been detected a few years ago but you'll always find loads more.
