DS77 badge
« on: August 18, 2014, 05:38:59 PM »
Found yesterday and it took my wife to point out to me that it had represented a horseshoe.  I was puzzled about the wee indentations but of course they are the "holes" for the horseshoe nails.
Size is 32mm top to bottom.  Anyone know if this is military or what?
Howard.

...quite a common decorative theme from Victorian times forward. Think your one will date from nearer the Victorian period?
