General consensus is that the Garrett Pro Pointer is the best on the market. I got one a few weeks back and don't know how I ever got on without one. Its sturdy and will take the knocks. Using it cuts down on the size of hole you dig and saves times especially when trying to locate a small item.  ;)

Wouldn't be without mine, saves a lot of time waving hanfuls of soil above the coil. Can't recommend them enough.

I need to get one, the amount of small targets which seam to just vanish into thin air anoys me.
