Out on local permission

Hi all was on a local permission and found a few musket balls and some bits of lead and buttons coins extra. I could do with some help on those items unknown .

Nothing of interest so far...2016 there again not been out much...;)

...two livery buttons mate. You should clean the one with the bugle and bird with a Brillo to bring up the detail. The button is not worth anything anyway, but it might help with an ID. I do not think it is military, but the bugle / horn could be paying homage to a military regiment?

I can see the word Ardua,(  latin for adversity,)   on the button, above the bugle. ?

Cheers Derek, I was not wanting to clean the button any further as this would take all the colour out...thanks for the help.. ;)

...no worries, I personally like cleaning them back to the original metal. Stops them rotting any further and they look pretty cool  ;)  :D
