Not expected to be the best find but ill get the ball rolling and enter the wee glass perfume bottle my son found. A really big thank you to Morayhunter who identified the bottles use/ possible age  and the company.

I didn't get anything spectacular.

A cartwheel, a winder, bale seal, pastry cutter wheel, cow tag, some coins and my favourite: Bovril token, other side has Farringdon St London and an example can be found in UKFD

:) Here is a picture of my best find for the Sunday.

Not exactly ancient but still a nice thing to find and made of silver retaining traces of its original enamel work.

"Chirpy, Chirpy, Cheap, Cheap,"

Was found in the carrot field facing Scone under a lot of nice looking Carrots.

This is my entry for the competition, its not the best photo, but cant seem to get it in great light or at a decent angle, David Baileys job is safe i think. It was found in the afternoon on top of the left hand mound of the top field, just a hundred yards from the barn,
Thanks to Lucky who id' it as a silver bodkin circa 16th or 17th century.
                  Jim,
 (http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/bb373/afgingram/P1000712.jpg)(http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/bb373/afgingram/P1000709.jpg)

Got a reply from treasure trove on the object , here it is.

Dear Mr Ingram,
Thanks, this looks very interesting; this is most likely a bodkin of Dutch origin and 17th century date. However the slot in the end of the needle as well as at the top might suggest it was used for passing a securing ribbon through clothes, which would suggest a 16th century date. I don’t think it possible to be definite until I have seen the object. I also have a question about the condition of the object; has this been treated or cleaned in any way?
Regards,
Stuart Campbell

Well i got to the bottom of my mystery Coin/Token
after much searching and head scratching ;D

William Parker’s Dublin (County Dublin) copper Conder halfpenny token dated 1794. Obverse: Female seated on chest, leaning on large anchor and holding a cornucopia: "MAY IRELAND EVER FLOURISH". Reverse: A register stove (ornamented fire grate): "DUBLIN HALFPENNY 1794". Edge inscription: "PAYABLE AT W. PARKER’S OLD BIRMINGHAM WAREHOUSE X". William Parker was an ironmonger with a business at No. 4 Kennedy's Lane,

Sorry for the photo folks...I still haven't got the hang of uploading photos of the right size.
Apart from our s-shaped silver love token ;D , KillieDee and I thought this is was probably our best find.
Each side is roughly 1cm (1/2" across) and not sure what the base metal is. It appears to have been decorated on top with possibly copper. The back is plain. When I dug it out I first thought it was a Brownie badge
Can anyone help with the ID?

Hi
My best find fron DS6 is probably a spindle whorl. Could date anywhere from Roman to late Medeival. Given the style of decoration I would probably go for 12-14 century.

Some of my other finds from DS6 included.
George I first issue farthing
2x Charles II bawbees
a couple of blank turners
George II halfpenny
George III halfpenny
a variety of Victorian farthings, halfpennies and pennies and some very coroded coppers
a bag seal
fairly modern thimble
a copper token advertising starch.(has a woman on the back doing the ironing!)
a strange copper artefact that looks like one of those things you decorate cakes with but it does not havea hole ot the pointed end.

Hi Folks,
Thank you all who voted, not just for me but for everyone. It was a good close result, rickys badge would have been a worthy winner anytime.
A wee update on the bodkin, it is in the hands of the NMS now for treasure trove assessment.
So hopefully i will have more information on it soon.
Glad someone on the dig told e not to chuck it, as i thought it was a bent piece of farm metal.
Just shows that its always worth a wee bit of cleaning and research into things.
Cheers again for the admin staff for the dig and all who turned up. Also a Big Thank You to Sinclair for the donation of the prize.
looking forward to seeing you all in perth next week.
   Happy and safe hunting folks,
  Regards,
 jim
