Posting this up for Davidmcl69 a sixpence found at DS115 with weird date mark  :)

....an interesting find, although I think it is due to a damaged die, as you can see there appears to be small circular marks on both the obverse and reverse. It is one of these that has displaced the top of the numeral "2" in the date. I have not been able to source a similar example online, but think it will be more of a curiosity than something of value due to the error.

Cracking find David, I was going to guess a damaged die which Derek has already confirmed. :)
