To be honest I wanted to remove it anyway as it's too restrictive with size limitations etc

Photobucket works much better anyway and puts the pictures into your post rather than below as an attachment

Photobucket is also better because with finds you can write titles and descriptions in between each photo in the post

The plot thickens!

So some normal members can and some can't!

I can't resist a puzzle lol

Just go on photobucket.com wullie and sign up for a free account, there's an option of a paid account too which gets rid of the adverts but is pointless I've used the free one for years!

Your pictures then appears like this:

I use the free photobucket site as well it works for me. Once your pictures are down loaded copy the IMG box and paste it to your posting. I have found it easier if down loading several pics to paste them onto a Microsoft doc then once organised with the post comments copy the microsoft doc and paste it onto the post box on the forum. Also save the doc under the dig number/name  to you own computer for future use. It is worth getting to know photobucket. If I can use it anyone can.

There are two options beneath each of the pics in your photobucket Library . The top one says IMG  the bottom one says IMG Thumb.   Cut and paste the link in the the top one, the IMG one.

That should definitely work. I will post a test using that method just now.

Read the posts above mate, photobucket is much better anyway and shows your photo much better within the post

Well if this works it means I can’t load directly from my own photos. I have to use a third party just to get a URL for between the image coding. Am I missing something here?

Nope, not even that works

Basically is you want a wee daft thumbnail right at the bottom of your post you can use the site uploader which is restrictive and I can’t do anything about that it’s designed sh1t

Or you can post as many big photos in the body of your post with comment titles and things in between by using a 3rd party hosting site.

 :)
The choice is yours :-)

It’s just an advert trying to get you to buy antivirus or something you need to adjust your settings to prevent Po-iOS mate.

Look at the post I’ve made in detector finds with the coins from Sunday that’s all through photo bucket and you couldn’t do that with the site uploaded

No-one else appears to be having problems with Photobucket. Which is good.

I have now sorted it out and can access Photobucket again.

I just have to get out there and find something and I will post it.

Thanks
