Yet another cystoscopy
« on: September 04, 2020, 09:14:12 AM »
Back to the Western General today for another cystoscopy to check for any new tumours in my bladder. Keeping my fingers crossed all is OK but not looking forward to the procedure although I should be used to it by now!!!! :(

Good luck with the result, John.  I guess this is a rigid one, since you're not looking forward to it?  My first was a flexible one, and bizarrely, I found the sensation not unpleasant (!) Then I had a rigid one under a general anaesthetic, which wasn't nearly so much fun.  :(

WHOOPEEEE got the all clear!! No tumours at present so back in 6 months to repeat the procedure again.  :D  Eqcons this was the flexible one this time. Been having the rigid one about every 6 months for the last three years along with four courses of the BCG chemo. :(

Well that is good, I have never done it before, tried once and found a galvanised bucket under the sand on the beach
But Sunday I WILL do the Gold dance :-)

I am not very well and may only manage half an hour but I am making the first steps to recovery

Take care hope to meet you soon
